Originally published in the 1910s, Practical Millinery Lessons gives a complete course of 24 lessons in the art of millinery. The course has been prepared with a threefold purpose: First: To provide teachers with a textbook complete, concise and thoroughly practical. Second: It aims to aid the milliner in instructing her apprentice, for, if studied in a workroom and under the guidance of a milliner, the ideal conditions for learning the art of millinery are fulfilled. Third: For home study, providing an ideal series of lessons for all who desire to master the art of millinery; and for those who have picked up some knowledge of millinery work and wish to perfect their methods.
